Creative Atmospheres Landscape Design
Monday started moonlighting Landscape Design in 1996 while attending UCI for Landscape Architecture. She worked in the Corporate World in the Restaurant Field while going to school, and finally began in the industry full time in 2001.
She was inspired as a little girl by her Mother, an Interior Designer, and her Grandparents, avid gardeners.
She is currently attending UCLA for Certification in Landscape Architecture, and hopes to be ready for the California State Exam in 2004.
Monday’s recent accomplishments include 1st Place in the category of Professional Garden Design in the Southern California Spring Garden Show at South Coast Plaza, April 2003. Her garden theme was “A Yoga Garden Retreat,” using Japanese design principles and Feng Shui techniques, and was complete with a yoga demonstration in the garden.
Monday’s flair for design is evident in her plant selections. Combinations of plants and the differing use of textures, colors, and individual characteristics is her specialty.
